Publishing management platform

Nasirus

Books, journals, articles and edited chapters are managed in one data model. A publisher’s working processes, from the submissions desk to the accounts, run in a single system. A storefront on the institution’s own domain allows a published work to go on sale on the day of publication. Intended for university presses, publication offices, academic journals and journal groups, the publishing units of research institutions, and commercial and independent publishers.

Scientific event management platform

Congirus

Abstract collection, peer review, programme building, fee collection, certification and registration are managed from one panel. The event’s own website is built in the same system. Intended for universities, associations, learned societies and professional bodies that organise congresses, symposia and workshops.

Shared structure

Six features common to both products

  1. Configurable processes

    Approval steps, form fields and decision authorities are set up to match the institution’s own order of work. This is configuration, not development.

  2. Forms designed from the institution’s panel

    Required fields, conditional questions and separate forms for different types of work are maintained from the panel.

  3. Role and permission based access

    Which screens a user sees depends on the permissions assigned to their role, not on the role name. The institution defines its own authority scheme.

  4. Immutable audit trail

    Who decided what, and when, is kept permanently and cannot be altered afterwards.

  5. Stamped document generation

    Official letters are generated from the institution’s own templates, and their authenticity can be verified on a public page.

  6. Multilingual operation

    Multilingual at both interface and content level. The institution defines its own set of languages.

Deployment models

The institution decides where the data is kept

Hosted deployment: the system runs on our infrastructure. Installation, updates, backups and monitoring are handled by us, and the institution does not need to operate servers.

On-premises deployment: the system runs on the institution’s own servers. Data remains within the institution’s infrastructure, and updates are planned and carried out together.

Congirus is operated as a cloud platform that institutions use through their own accounts. In Nasirus each institution has its own installation, either hosted by us or on the institution’s own server.
